In support of the University’s mission to holistically develop 学生, ETBU has initiated a mentoring program called Thrive to cultivate 学生 success through intentional, 一对一的, 还有小组指导. Thrive prepares Tigers to flourish intellectually, 精神上, 身体上的, 在情感上, 和社会. 新, 校园, undergraduate 学生 will be offered the opportunity to be paired with a mentor (upperclassman, 教师, or staff member) during their first semester at the University.

Available to Freshman 和 First-Year Transfer 学生s
新 undergraduate 学生 at ETBU have the opportunity to link with a Thrive mentor during their first semester on campus. The mentee 和 mentor will meet regularly (face-to-face or via video chat) to help the 学生 become oriented to the culture 和 expectations at ETBU. Mentors 和 mentees will use the Thrive Playbook to guide their discussions 和 to alert 学生 to campus resources that will assist with their transition to ETBU.

Being a Peer Mentor 给s upperclassmen the opportunity to gain 领导 和 指导 经验. Here are a few additional benefits:
- Become a certified Peer Educator
- Earn an upper-level elective by taking LEAD3101: Peer Mentoring – Becoming a Master 学生
- Share your wisdom 和 expertise with a new Tiger.
- Fulfill your service-hour requirement for the semester
